You hear it in our videos, you see it on our advertisements, we even tried to put it on our Moto2 motorcycles (didn't happen dammit)...our unofficial slogan has officially become a defining characteristic of the Dribble Dots lifestyle. However the F you want is not just a wise ass retort when you don't know how to defefinitively answer a question. It's our way of captivating the extreme versatility of not our products, but also the human capacity to cook, to love, to learn, to be.
We don't always call our recipes "recipes", but rather "suggestions". This is because while many consider cooking and baking to be science - so many feel that they must strictly adhere to the parameters of a recipe - they don't always have to be.
Well, we think that when life hands you lemons, you have an endless possiblility of options! Sure, there's lemonade, but what about lemon meringue pie, lemon-soy marinade, or Caesar salad dressing? What about a lemon-sugar body scrub, an odor eliminator for your refrigerator, or even a refresh treatment for your cutting boards?
There are, of course, moments in which recipes are required. Some experiences we want to repeat over and over again, exactly as it has occurred in the past. Recipes belong in commercial kitchens, for example. We want to return to a restaurant and know exactly what to expect in terms of costumer service, quality of ingredients, and execution of technique. When you want to bring back the nostalgia of your great grandmother's pecan pie, go ahead and bake it just like she taught you you. (Don't forget the extra ingredient of love!)
Of course it is always useful to jot down mesurements and cook times. However, your kitchen can also be a place to experiment, to enjoy, to embrace the adventure of your culinary journey! When we show you a recipe of how to prepare oven roasted vegetables with DRIBBLE DOTS of Whicked White Truffle Oil, don't be afraid to switch it out for Mouthering Walnut Oil or to add some mushrooms to the zucchini and pepper mix!
Remember, you have the freedoom to cook- and to live- HOWEVER THE F YOU WANT!
DRIBBLES AND KISSES!
MICHELLE.
